Frequently Asked Questions

Will you be able to help me?

We can usually help most people in some way, but to better answer this question please schedule a complimentary Discovery Call, which is a 20 minute phone or zoom call to discuss your case and see if you're a good fit for our practice.

How much does it cost?

Because every client is different, costs will vary depending on the complexity of the client’s case.  Once you've scheduled your complimentary Discovery Call, we will review our fee schedule with you that will detail costs for all  services.  We will also provide pricing information for laboratory testing.

Do you take insurance?

Due to working outside of the conventional medical paradigm, most insurance companies don’t cover costs and we do not take insurance directly.  Itemized receipts or super bills can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company if you want to seek reimbursement. We do except HSA or FSA type cards.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards like Visa and MasterCard.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes! A large portion or all care can be provided remotely depending on the case. Blood tests can be drawn at a patient service center in your local area, or in some cases we can arrange to have a mobile phlebotomist come to you.  All other lab test kits can be mailed directly to you and can be performed in the privacy of your own home. Home test kits are mailed back to the lab and results are received by our office. Once your results are in we will contact you to set up an appointment via phone or video call. For cases that require a more detailed physical exam, in person treatments (ex: acupuncture, body work, etc.), or exercise programing, you will need to be seen in person at our office.

Is lab testing necessary?

In most cases yes, unless directly referred to a health coach, therapist, or other provider outside of our office. Whether you have chronic health issues or are just looking to optimize wellness, labs are a vital part of the process. Lab testing helps us to uncover the root causes of your health issues so that we can develop a safe and effective strategy for addressing your health concerns. Without the data and information that labs provide us, we would simply be guessing. We don't guess...we test.

What is the cost of laboratory testing?

Necessary and optional lab test(s) will be based on your case presentation and discussed during your Case Review. On average, clients can expect to spend between $300-$1200 for initial testing.  Cases that are more complex may require additional specialty testing. We’ve made every effort to ensure that you’re receiving direct-lab wholesale pricing on all lab tests.

How long does it take to heal?

There are many factors involved in the healing process, and how long it will take to heal will depend on your level of participation and commitment, your particular health issues, and your current state of vitality. It’s important to understand that it’s unreasonable to expect to reverse decades, and sometimes generations, of dysfunction in just a few weeks. We are all unique individuals with different histories, abilities, lifestyles, and needs, and the length of each healing process will vary.
